Topic: Cant get axel off of rim!!!!

Im trying to take the axel out of the rim and i cant turn the damn bolt on the end. The axel is from a 76 550, and one end has a bolt and the other just has a hole. I tried putting the whole wheel and axel in a vice but no luck. Is there any tool that will go in the little hole on the end so i can put some torque on the bolt, cause that sucker is on there good!

If it's like a 750 (sounds the same) you can put a proprely sized  round screwdriver thru the hole and use an air impact gun with a correctly sized  deep well socket on the opposite side. Or just take the whole wheel/axle assy to someone who has these tools in case you don't. Works good. For the front axle I presume?
