theyre doing an upper and lower GI in the morning, cleaning her out tonight with a couple of 10oz drinks of something like drain-o for your insides.

that stuff is like intestinal rocket fuel.  I had to do that stuff and was afraid to fart for three days.  I strongly recommend you take it for a naggy little cold.  You'll be so afraid to cough or sneeze, your symptoms will magically disappear!
;)

Take good care, Buck.  I hope you can get good sleep tonight so you can be there for your lady tomorrow.

I had to rake that stuff for a special MRI recently. My wife go it from the drug store. Never showed it to me. The day before the test she said it was in the closet. When I wet into the bag it was a gallon jug with a few scoops of powder at the bottom. I called the Druggist as asked how much water. She said only fill it to the 4 liter mark, which was near the cap. The stuff is called something that sounded like Go Lightly. They F***in lied.

well, it's cancer and it could very well be very bad. in the intestine, in a curve right where it abuts the liver  she meets with the surgeon on monday and likely go back in for surgery next friday or the following monday. docs are very concerned because of where this mass is located. it's about 5cm in diameter they said, so 2 inches more or less.

Oh Jeff, my HEART goes out to Virginia AND YOU! :( I sure wish there was something I could do for you all. I WILL keep Praying for you all AND get you all on the Prayer list as well. I was REALLY afraid for her and was REALLY hoping for better news for her. :( Man, if it wasn't SO FAR from Arkansas, I'd BE THERE (don't know what I could DO, but I'd BE THERE just the same)! Please continue to keep us posted, as you can. Kind of hard for ME to express myself online like this but Brother You all are like Family!

Just caught this thread. Sorry to hear it Bucky. :( They will probably want to do more tests like a nuc med study on her in the meantime. It's a good idea. It looks to see if it has spread anywhere. I'm sure you can understand how important it is to know that before they cut. PET scan would be nice but many places don't have them yet. Ask.

Good luck. We're sending healing vibes her way.  ;)

Man Buckey we are so sorry to hear the bad news :'(. My husband and I will keep you and your wife and family in our prayers. But keep chin up hun. God can perform mighty things. Just yesterday a friend of mine was told by her doc she had stage 4 lung cancer and had 6 months to live and when she went back yesterday for the check up after having a catscan and mri done just days before, the cancer was GONE NONE LEFT, so don't give up the faith, GOD CAN DO MIGHTY THINGS AND I BELIEVE SHE CAN over come this cancer, with prayers and help and support of family, you ALL CAN make it thru and beat this ugly nasta cuss word.
