They just seem to glow when painted yellow, check out this gorgeous little bike for instance. :)

I agree! Very nice, it's a happy color and I'd be happy riding that.  :)

Dont take this the wrong way but I think it looks like crap. I dont recall ever seeing a bike, car, plane, boat, etc etc that ever looked good painted yellow. I really dislike that color for some reason..

My first bike was a Yellow Yamaha Seca, frame, tank, grips, everything was yellow. And I loved it . . . for about a month. Then I realized I owned a bright yellow motorcycle.
On some bike, like this Duck, I think you get away with it:

On some bikes, I think you can take the yellow a bit too far:

This project started in confusion and will end in disarray.

This one is a little beat up but depending on the shade, yellow looks good.

Same for me. The '72 is original Sunrise and looks great.
Did the '78 cafe in semi gloss black...very sleek.
Yellow, not so much. Maybe on a race bike.
Just an opinion...

My buddy had a 33 plymouth coupe that was freightliner yellow, like a yield sign, he would roll into a car show and win best paint without even knocking the bugs off it. You could look down the line of 30 cars and his was the one you would see. He's color blind he didn't even know.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Something about Plymouth.  I'm not a fan of the color yellow on vehics, but man does a 'Cuda look good in yellow.

Mine was yeller when I bought it - couldn't wait to kill that color.

Much better now.

I think the shade of yellow matters a lot, though.  The ones that go more orange are better to my eyes.
