New NGK plug caps - installation?
« on: April 13, 2010, 03:03:15 PM »
Can someone explain exactly how these will fit on my wires? There's a little screw inside - does it just push up into the braiding of my coil wires and screw on? Or is there some other trick to it?

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

Screws right into the center of the coil wire where it makes electrical contact with the copper core.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

yup, its really that simple.  Another tip is to snip the wires back about 1/4" so that screw will make better contact with the wire.
