yeah they had the sirens going and everything... the worst of it was about 20 mi south of here. my cousin lost his house... pretty bad deal

its just one of those things... but on a good note... the weather cleared in the last hour. just road about 25 miles and back to my buddy's to work out... was a really nice ride home. felt good after 2 long days in the cage...

okay... just going throw this out there.. i need more storage... i hate backpackin it... im thinking of either the ammo can panniers, some saddle bags or maybe one on just one side... i dont want some bags that are going to dwarf the bike but i want something that will be worth having... need the perfect middle between fashion and function

suggestions? ideas? PICs?

it wasnt his first time on two wheels. maybe the first time in a few years. his brother had an old CB450 back in the day i found some pics of.. very cool.

messed around with the turn signal issue last night... found out that the LR bulb or light assy itself is bad... need to pick up a bulb to try. looked okay but who knows. it has battery voltage to the light.
still having an issue with turn signals not flashing w/o revving her up. by the way, my tach is not correct so i can't tell you exacty how high... i have to rev it to what shows to be almost 3k for signals to flash. over 4k with headlamp on... (again i dont believe tach is correct)
battery is full charged... was actually showing 18+V while running, but i had had it on a 2 amp charge for a couple hours... will need to check voltage when i get home after sitting a day...

figured it out... wrong bulbs. the afmk rear turn signals came with 10w bulbs. i swapped in a 23w and they work perfectly without the bike even running.. DOH!.
anyways ill just have to track down the mini bulbs in a higher wattage. oreilly, autozone, and advanced didnt have 'em. im'a try napa tomorrow. if they dont have it ill just buy some different turn signals
