It isn't all bad, at least your not looking for a job
I've been looking for toy(s) too and feel your pain. Initially as the economy "slowed down" a few toys came on the market for quick sale, what with people loosing jobs and needing to make house payments. As the dust settled and the deals dried up, it seems projects and collectibles bobbed back up. My theory is that a hard asset makes more sense as an investment when the dollar and stocks are falling or soft. Barret Jackson, eBay, and Criagslist expanded the demand as well. Not to mention all the yahoos that lost a job and started "fixin up old ___________ to pay the bills"
Good luck, and remember that the search is part of the fun...
