Topic: [Pic] Rear Wheel Spacing - What am I missing

I know i'm missing something pretty important here, but I can't find it and i'm not exactly sure what to be looking for other than a cylinder bushing type thing.

But, I have my wheel on the axle and there's a great deal of play being that there's no spacer on the right side, in addition to the one that is inside the wheel (the ones that fit in the hub itself are there).

Attached is a pic of my axle.

If someone could post a name (so I can search the net for a replacement should I not be able to find it) and a pic of what It should look like, I'd appreciate it.

Here are some pics of my K4 for you to see. Mine is drum brakes compared to your disc, but it sure looks like you are missing the main spacer there. You can see my shorter spacer to the right of the hub. Try looking at a parts fische on line. That will help you out with part numbers and stuff. Click the pic to enlarge...

You need rear wheel spacer for brake side..

 What kind on F'en wheel are you running, it appears to be different than the bike listed on you siggy line?

 Someone on here may have something, if you explain what wheel, & what you are using it on..

The PO converted some of the finer points of the F model over to this K.  Mostly including the tripple disc brakes, so the rear wheels are early 80's inverted black comstars.

Here's an example of why we shouldn't assume the bike in the signature is the bike in play.

You have a rear wheel with a disc brake in your picture. I don't think any K bikes had disc brakes, just the Fs?

Anyhoo, the spacer for a discbrake wheel is part and parcel of the bracket that holds the caliper. An integral part, as the caliper is as well.

So the disc brake bracket is what goes there?  This is one part of the bike I forgot to take pictures of and document.

When I bought it, it was complete and functional. I tore it apart to rebuild, so I have the part somewhere - I just don't know where/what it is.

Yup, brake bracket goes in there, serving doublle duty as the spacer and holder of the caliper. Sounds like you should have it somewhere.

Yep, sure do.  It's in a box.  One of the few things I didn't have powder coated bright fancy blue.

Appreciate the clarification, also added my brake conversion to my signature for future Qs such as this.

Note the "stabilizer bar" connected to the brake caliper in MCRiders pic. This bar bolts to a mount on the F model swingarm. Hopefully the PO accounted for this and either swapped in a F swingarm or welded a bracket to your K swingarm.
