Where is cycle X? I usually  a loop from the Quad Cities up to Prairie  Du Chen and back along the river. Want to hit up southeastern  MN and La Crosse area  sometime. I know some great routes from Prairie Du Chen  to Madison if you interested.  South central  WI is like a mini deals gaps!
