  So once you get a look you like for the seat, you need to make a buck of some sort, out of what?  Is it possible to do a fiberglass buck and then make the final seat from that?

It depends on what i decide to do for future builds. My two options are a plaster mold or a fiberglass mold. A plaster mold will last for ages but the design for this seat is pretty specific to this tank so im leaning towards a fiberglass mold. ill make a final decision next week after i finish balanceing the design.

I did a skeleton frame of alluminum and then fibreglassed it.Used bondo to fill in the rough spots,sanded,epoxied, done.No mold or anything,just kinda went for it.Never worked with glass before,nor bondo,but it turned out nice,and with a aluminum skeleton,strong too.The clay is awesome,unlimited possibilities,cant wait to see more.
