No not at all, it is still in the rideable mock up stage.  I have to do a small photo shoot with it tomorrow to help a friend.  I"ll see what I can do about getting a sound clip for  you.  The best way to describe it is to say it sounds a little like the HM300 pipes, since if I remember correctly they were basicly glasspacks like I have.

Just come across this build - certainly an interesting one.

Can you tell me what the headlight peak is for? I see them on cafe-racers and I never know what it's supposed to do apart from look

vaguely gay..like the leather caps that the YMCA guy wore.

Do you mean the headlight visor?  It's just an Aesthetics thing man.  I dig em, think they look nice on some bikes, like this one.

Yeah but, what was its original purpose, back in the day? A peak on a cap keeps the sun out of your eyes, why does a headlight need a peak?

I can't think of many other accessories that don't have a purpose - that are just chunks of metal with aesthetic qualities.

I invoke the law of Carpy - Carpy does it, therefore it's cool.   :D

+1 Spikeybike.  Plus I thought it looked pretty cool, and hey Soichiro I like that reasoning too. ;)  I'm probably gonna ride for the last time this year tomorrow, then time for the strip down.  Hopefully by next spring it will be show and go ready.  With a little luck I should be able to get some sort of audio clip as I have no vid camera (but my sis does and the bike is at her house HHMMM...).

Any ways thanks for the intrest in my project and I will try to keep it updated more often.

Bike looks good. My only thought/suggestion would be to remove the horizontal tubes under the tank but that is purely asthetic.
