Thread Pitch for '71 CB750 rear signal bolt
« on: April 16, 2010, 02:06:56 PM »
Hey guys.  Newbie to the forum here.  I'm in the process of restoring a '71 CB750.  The bolts that hold the rear turn signals on got lost at some point and the holes on the fender are a little messed up so the new bolts don't want to thread in.  I need to run a tap through the holes to clean up the threads.  The parts manual says the bolts are M8x32mm, but doesn't give a thread pitch.  I've got M8 bolts with a 1mm and 1.25mm pitch.  Can somebody please let me know what the thread pitch is for these holes?  Been going through the FAQs and searching, but can't seemed to find the answer.  Thanks.

David
