geez, what a let down. all these bikes are sub-par and i think i could do much better.  :-\

there are so many examples of things i would do different/better/awesomer but would take countless pages to list them here. the workmanship borders on the criminal! my humble opinion is beyond reproach (whatever that means), and therefore correct, so it is with utter confidence that i announce that i am an authority in these matters in spite of the fact i've never rebuilt a bike from the ground up. it is an established fact (check wikipedia) that my taste is so much better than everyone here.

couldn't we have turned over a few more rocks and scraped together a better collection than this motley bunch of embarrassing excuses for motorcycles? where do you all get off offending my sight and wasting my time by forcing me to observe such eyesores?! i'd rather write my vote down on a $100 dollar bill, blow my nose with it, then flush it down the toilet.

now i must wash my eyes out with bleach and have a priest exorcise my computer.

 ;D

Taste cannot be argued, to each there own... this might help

I totally respect that!

I have not had GRANTS, is it worth the trip to the liquor store? Highland?

Well in the interests of attracting Ecosse's tumbleweed and spreading things out right to the end, I guess my build is very well covered across two old threads:

Ultimate motor - http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=32541.0
Finally... - http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=53094.0

It all started with a £200 donor CB750 K from Donald E. McGlothlin of Sunbury Ohio and a comment from a bike trader friend on my Black Bomber along the lines of "You should buiild a CR750, no-one ever manages to build one of them properly".....that was the cheap and easy part! Almost nothing remains of that donor bike in an unaltered state and the bike, having so many custom made parts and original race kit cost more to build than I care to think about. It might have taken six years too, but bar a few specialist procedures, *I* built this bike and whatever happens here, I'm mighty proud of the final result  ;)

The fact that some of you guys like it enough to include it in this vote off is just the icing on the cake for me, I'm made up with the comments.

:-\  Oh sure I get nominated along with a super cool $15,000 Chopper. A 6 year super custom race kitted build. A super sweet and nicely painted cafe racer and last but not least a fairly scary franken custom! Thanks Ecosse!   LOL!   :o

I am going to the garage, where is that dang bottle of Scotch...

Well Fasturd, Ecosse felt your bike would be in good company.  So, that should be an honor in itself.  Ecosse has a large background knowledge of old bikes, so if he picked yours, it had something worth nominating for.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I have nothing but praise for Ecosse, the bikes here this month and of course the SUPER knowledgeable Moderator! Just had to give Ecosse a poke. If the company was lousy it wouldn't be worth winning!

I know the one that I voted for. Another member said he votes for the bike he'd most like to have in his driveway. Well, for me Freezingprocess is without a doubt the kind of bike I'd love to have. The BCR parts scream cafe racer, the craftsmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. It was built to be a Honda cafe racer which is easy to see, it is recognizable and tastefully done as such. I'd like to ride with FP if I ever got out that way.

Thanks cb. If you're ever near northern New Jersey, let me know and I would definitely meet up with you for a ride.....

I'm really amazed at the variety of styles this month. I would be happy to own any of these. Here's my build thread...It's sort-of half-assed because I don't get much computer time, although I try to do what I can to give back to this awesome forum.

Moon pies are especially delicious.

But I was torn between cqyqte and lordmoonpie. I drool over the finished product that is deviant...it's good inspiration for a chopper build. But in the end I'm a sucker for a well-done race replica with a cool paint scheme.
