Will 77 750 pipes fit on a 75 750K?

Hi everybody,

some guy on Craigslist is selling stock 77 pipes for 125, but I wanted be sure that they fit on a 75. Does anybody know or have any information?

Umm...in a simple word, nope.  :(
The K7 pipes mate tothe head differently and the footpeg bolt is different. It seems to me that Gammaflat was playing with this, or something like it, about a year ago? He may have been trying to go the other way, with K6 pipes on a K7. But, the exhaust flanges at the head would have to be changed to mate to the later pipes.
