I saw it at the stealership.  It's just massively wide... like most cruisers out there. :P

a 1500cc parallel twin on it too. cycle world did a road test a while back and it scored really favorably against the american and japanese cruisers. apparently it diesnt ride or handle like the 700+ pound motorcycle it is.

I want Honda to come up with three or four new bike models.  That's what I want.

As an addendum:
models that
a) are not harley carbon copies, like the brand new Shadow that looks exactly like a sportster
b) are not "custom choppers"  ...has anyone actually seen them sell a Fury yet?
c) are not plastic covered crotch rockets ... There are enough out there already FFS.

Still love the rocket III.    Drove by the dealer the other day and they had a bike with hi pipes sitting out.  Looked like a old scrambler.

If I were going to buy a Triumph Thunderbird, I'd want it to be one from the 1950's.  8)

Pretty Cool at that Caave! Thanks for posting, I hadn't seen that advert. 8)

Personally, I wouldn't mind taking that Triumph for a spin to see how it handles and all. Pretty good to see something that isn't a V-twin or a Crotch Rocket, for a change. ;)  Bear in mind that I was taught that Triumph was the competition of the BSA and Norton that we sold back then (at my Granddad's Motorcycle Shop). Imagine IF they took that Vertical Twin and added 2 more cylinders to it! :o
