What seems to be missing is the facts of this episode.  But that is to be expected in the present talk radio culture in this country.  Everything has to be dumbed down to a shouted slogan.  An American convert to Islam in New York with a website makes a veiled threat of what could happen to Matt and Trey. Somehow he speaks for the whole Muslim world.  

 It is against Islam to show depictions of Muhammad.  Maybe Christianity could have learned something from this.  We would all be spared the symbol and icon worship that goes on in Christianity.  I just shake my head when I see people praying to a plastic Jesus or the plastic statues of Mary in an inverted bathtub, the theme parks, and all the rest of the Christian brick-a-brac.  All the folks praying before weeping statues or the supposed image of Jesus in the plaster on some building wall.  Maybe Islam was seeking to prevent this icon worship that is so prevalent in Christianity.  To us it's hard to understand why they get so upset because we have accepted this bastardization of Christianity without even thinking about it.
