Ok, I got into the forks because I wanted to lose those accordion gator boots and the bulky chrome headlight ears.
I didn't like what I saw.



And this hex bolt alone took me about 30 minutes to get out, each!

I'm slowly catching you all up on work from a couple weeks ago, so....here are my new forks going together with CycleX tubes, All Balls seal, and Progressive springs. I don't have any pics

but I repalced my steering bearings with All Balls while I had everything apart.
