"Not necessarily illegal" = Not Illegal, so doesn't make much sense to say it is. We have an entire thread here devoted to posting mebers' Ebay user ID's so members don't bid against each other. That's technically against the ebay user agreement, too.

I think those types of requests do cross the line, kinda like asking in a public forum if someone would send you a copy of a copywrited software program or music. Sure stuff like this happens in real life, however I don't think the owner of this web site / forum would want it to be know he/she allows that type of activity to happen.
I guess it is a matter of morals, some have them, others don't.
