When rebuilding a set of carburetors from parts, make sure you use the same needle in every carburetor. This improves performance.

Another tip is make sure you turn on the fuel at the petcock, tends to run smoother with it on! ;D

If your headlight doesn't work, I wonder how many people initially overlook the possibility of a burnt out bulb.
This project started in confusion and will end in disarray.

Carb needles are overrated. Lighten the bike and run without them. Rock on.

Why stop there?  Carburetors are pretty heavy, run WOT without them.

ill take it a step further... engine - gone. dont need it.
just rig up some type of pedalling levers to another sprocket and run to your rear sprocket... less weight = more speed, right>?

i should get a patent on that

I’d also like to add….for better lean angle, and of course to avoid scribe marks in the asphalt, always ride with the kick stand in the up position!

i under stand this thread is spinning out of control... but quick story
hot neighbor girl comes down to check out the bike the other night as i was about to leave. i killed it so we could talk.... then when i had to kick it (#$%* battery) i leaned off, completely forgetting my kick stand was up. i barely managed to not drop myself and the bike. sad thing was she acted like she was going to catch us both (me and the honda)... anyways. nice to get taken down a peg when youre trying to look cool

if you fill your tires with helium and attach some balloons to your belt u can lighten your bike some also...if you have the spare change hydrogen is even lighter and well worth the investment.... i would love to see someone with out an engine and ballons tied to thier waist pedaling down the road proud of their "lightness".. then they explode from the  hydrogen balloons
