Bar-end mirrors - recommendations?
« on: April 22, 2010, 07:36:48 AM »
Hi.

I want to get bar-end mirror(s) for my 1972 CB350 4. Do you have any good recommendations?

Thanks!

I got a set of clubmans, end mirrors, and grips from ebay and they're pretty legit.

I'll bet you haven't looked through both the expensive ones and the knock offs.  The expensive ones should have convex glass, whereas the cheapies have flat glass.  A world of difference in what can be seen behind you.

And I'll bet the links Gordon posted might mention that.

I'm pretty sure I said something to that effect in some previous thread.  Definitely a big difference between the Emgos and Napoleons.

I bought fake Napoleons on eBay, they suck...they are now the most rusted thing on my bike and the thing that sets them in the bar is terrible...go for the real deal if you like this style of mirror

On my 350f I had some from a bicycle shop. 16 bucks and they were good Quality. I bought Napoleon knockoffs and stripped them putting them on. They vibrated horribly too.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
