My K6 seat arrived today!!
« on: April 23, 2010, 05:46:16 PM »
Well my 750K6 is a step closer to the stock look. Its amazing how just a seat can change the look of a bike. Here's some pics of old Mustang seat, it was comfortable, but not easy on the eyes to look at, and the new factory seat I just put on today.

I wish I had some rich relatives, but I don't so I guess the factory pipes will have to wait awhile.

That's interesting, my '77 has a similar seat. I hated it at first but it has grown on me.

Yeah, I'm going to hold on to that Mustang seat,  not worth much anyway. Mustang makes a good  comfortable seat, to bad it doesn't compliment the look of the bike very much.

Super looking bike. Awesome..Your new seat is MUCH better. Stock - so waht. What you had was not style - it was fad. Which is short for faded....

dhall, exceptional K6, nice move to the stock seat. Your bike sure did not sit outside much over the years!
Keep saving a bit each month for your 341's, you will get there.

Your bike looks great.

We still need to get the local group together for a ride. I did 150 miles between Matthews, Concord, Mt Pleasant, Albemarle and back yesterday.

Here are pic's of mine with original seat and with a new stock seat.

thanks for the compliments on my K6. Man what a seat Markcb750. You could drink a cup of coffee and read the paper while going down the road. Your K6 looks much better with the factory seat also. Those are MAC 4to1. They were on the bike when I bought it. Has a good sound. I painted them several months ago, paint is holding up good. I like the stock look on these old CB's so I want the 341's. asom, Climax, NC. Its just a little ways down the road from Horny Town. There calling for rain later today so lets go put a few miles in.

Very nice! I've got the exact same 4 to 1 Mac exhaust on my 75 but also have a new 4 to 2 Mac system. I've had a two year nightmare with getting mine running right but I'm ready for a spin if you all want to get together. I'm in South Charlotte east of Pineville area.   Paul

It looks very nice.  I often wish I would have kept my '75K.  I sold it 6yrs ago and bought a '98 VT1100C3 (Shadow Aero)...that was a beautiful bike, but my love for the SOHC4 brought me back to my '78K and then last year I picked up my current '77F.  It's fun.

I live in Raleigh.  Looks like there are more folks here that I originally thought.  We should find a common spot (between Climax, Charlotte, Raleigh, etc and ride some time.  Actually, I guess Climax is about half way between Charlotte and Raleigh.
Cheers!
and Ride Safe.

;D !  I thought you were kidding about Climax.

Would I 40 be half way from Charlotte to Releigh?  Meet there and take a rode trip to the Mtns. up I 40?  I'm game...
