Misc pics of a place I miss?

Hey All,
Just a little bored going through some old pics. Wow seem's like yesterday 89-91. I bet some of you been there :) I was stationed at Upper Heyford for 3 years. I did go to Avon Strip while I was there.

I wonder if Avon is the same as 'Shakespeare County Raceway'?
Sam, any comments?
We are planning to take our racing cars to Shakespeare Raceway in late feb for testing..

Yes it is a long way from colorado. I lived just outside Oxford for 3 years. I tell you, it was some great time's.

 thanks for the link. The thatched roof house is in a town called Great Tew. I visited this place right up the street many time's. Wish I could find the out if the lady is still the owner next dorr to the pub. Had some fun time's. The F-40 is or was Nick Mason's from Floyd at the time. They where having a vintage weekend at Silverstone. Here is a cold morning in England. :)

Looks like a 'typical' quaint English village, very pretty.
I have seen Mason at a couple of Ferrari track days, he has a 'real' 250 GTO worth millions and I have seen him thrashing this car on a track!!

It was great seeing him there driving cars like there made to be driven. It was very cool to meet him Even though all I got to say was Hello. I never got that chance the 3 times I have seen Floyd in concert.
 I bet he has such a blast driving the 250.
Ok, now I need to plan a visit over there. I miss it. :)
