Hey ,

Making progress on the new front-end project, and I am in need of a lowering kit.
Whats the best, most common , run of the mill kit that people use on these bikes ?
I am looking for around a 2'' kit, if that is made.

Going from a 19'' front wheel to a 21'' front wheel will raise the front end, and I dont want that.

Anyone  ???

Have you looked into swapping 550 forks?  I saw one on a 750 this week and they looked great!

I was thinking about using 550 forks, but I allready have the front-end project going with a set
of prestine 750 forks, which are stock length. The bike sat at perfect height with the tubes pushed about
1 2/2'' thru the triple trees, and I want to keep this with the new 21'' front, thus the lowering kit.

Doesn't progressive make a kit for these bikes ? Part number anyone ?

You can try to drop the front over the fork legs , or raise the fork tubs and let them com up over the the top brigde, it`s a inexpensive way to do it. ???

Thanks for the link, I will do my research and try and find the right kit. I don't have any more pics than
whats in my gallery. I have been getting parts togther this winter, and plan to do a full on attack on the
bike once it gets warm enough to be outside for more than 10 min at a time. I wil post many pics once
the scoot is complete...

This is the way I lowered the bike with the 19'' wheel. With me going to a 21'', and the tubes being in the same place,
the front end of the bike will be roughly 2'' taller, which is not what I want.
