CB750 Guage and Headlight Reconfiguration (Lowering)
« on: April 07, 2010, 08:43:58 AM »
This was inspired by the look of the Triumph Triple's headlight/gauge configuration. It's a quick and inexpensive solution for lowering gauges and headlight on a CB750. I used 3/4 x 1/8 steel to create brackets to push the gauges down abut 3" and forward a bit- while retaining good visibility of the them. They fit snug over the headlight and the tach/speedo cables fit right into the cutouts of the stock headlight bucket. $3 for the steel and I've seen the headlight brackets for as low as $20. Really changes the stance of the bike, lower and more aggressive- didn't get a good picture of that. :P
