permanent removal of headlight- where to put all the wiring?

Like the look, so I'm thinking of running with no headlight...
Here in UK it is legal as we can run 'daylight only' paperwork. Trouble is, is there a neat way of locating all the electric stuff that is crammed into the headlight shell?

On my "dirt bike" - a 1972 SL100, I removed the headlight 'cause the shell was all busted.  The fork ears got turned-in and tie-wrapped together so that the orange side-reflectors mounted on them point forward.  Then the wires were coiled and wrapped in a section of inner tube that was also tie-wrapped around the bundle of wires, positioned behind the ears that now fit together.  Any exposed wire-ends were taped over to insulate.

I also removed the brake light 'cause that came with a missing lens.

I'm sort of in the same situation. I'm putting a Dyna / Sportster front end on my 750 that has a smaller 4" headlight with no extra room for wiring. I was thinking of using a fork bag to store it all in, as it would go with the look i'm after. I'm not sure that that would work for you though...

It would seem that some sort of a junction box would be required unless you were to do away with the connectors all together by splicing and insulating the connections, that way you could simply wrap the harness in black tape and call it a day.

For what it's worth, I just finished rewiring my bike from scratch.  All my electronics (battery, starter solenoid, ignition, regulator, rectifier, etc) now live in a shallow tray beneath my seat.  All the wiring (including two new relays for the headlight) is located on the frame, wrapped in weather-proof sheathing.  The only thing in my headlight bucket is the headlight plug, and it can be quick-disconnected.

It can be done.  It just depends on your motivation and patience  ;)
