Here you go....
"Here is my effort! Just a quick note that some of the phrases in the Dutch version are very Flemmish (or Belgian). To say something alludes to "thick gravy and a bowl of fries" is a sincere compliment. The reviewer likes the musical interpretation very much.
A few years ago, the BBC Music Magazine came up with the luminous idea to allow a jury, composed of children, to choose their favorite version of Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf”. The cheapest version won. Not the children took any notice, but Barry Humphries, in his role as the glamorous Dame Edna, was the narrator of the Naxos composition.
If a similar competition were to be held for “The Carnival of Animals”, it is entirely plausible that YouTuba would win hands down: narrator Ian McMillan uses a semi-dignified vocabulary and tone of voice, which, in a comically sounding proper British English, will probably delight the younger generation. In addition, the accompanying instruments: the euphonium, trombone, and tuba (with the ever indispensable piano), strengthens the soothing and lighthearted tone of the composition. The majestic ‘March of the King Lion”, Chris Bearman’s melancholic tuba in “The Tortoise”, the clumsily dancing character that Chris Dennis creates in “The Elephant”, and the spectacular final say enough about the versatility of this quartet. The sequel to this work, “Jungle Book”, continues on the same foot. One would quickly forget that the disc actually begins with a funky number, the one-and-a-half minute long ‘Rock Bottom”, yet this is obviously evidence to not create such musical effects with a tuba. However, the trilogy “Charlie and the Chocolate Sweet” is very soothing, especially the famous “The Candyman”.
The humor of the music is the result of the work of four former students of the Trinity College of Music. In 2008, this heavy brass ensemble was the first to win the prestigious Philip Jones Brass Ensemble Competition. Nonetheless, “Carnival” is completely weaned of any musical pretension and the ensemble went for the fun-loving character of the music, complete with spoonfuls of thick gravy and a bowl of fries. Let the fun not be a deception of talent: this is craftsmanship full of love and dedication. For youngsters 7 to 77 years."
