Finally have the new bars on the bike
« on: April 26, 2010, 09:17:04 PM »
Finally have my new handle bars on, going to work on them some more tomorrow, I was wondering if they are set at the correct angle?

(last 3 pictures of the album are the new handlebars)

(Sorry if your bike is in there, I like the look, and used em as examples of what I want mine to look similar too when I am done.)

(Also Ignore the ugly blue bike behind it, its not mine.)

I bought it with em on, I have the original pipes, they just need to be cleaned up. I am going to pick something else completely up probably once I can afford it.

Alright have the handlebars on correctly, and obviously the old cables are not going to work, way to long, I was wondering if anyone have used these cables with the Clubman?

I am still looking for the rest of the cables if anyone has a site with good prices.

I'm using my stock length throttle cables with clubmans, you just have to make sure and route them a bit differently.  That said, mine feel a little stiff, not sure if shortening them a bit would help.
I ended up getting a clutch cable too.  This didn't fit the bracket on the end of the clutch arm so I had to dremel it a bit, but it fit okay after that.

He said the last three pictures were of his bars:

What's upside down about that?
This project started in confusion and will end in disarray.

Opps sorry, I just fixed em today and posted new pictures, that was last night that I had em wrong, the pictures are still up of it from then though. Now the problem is finding all the cables I need without spending a fortune on em :/

Two things.. One much better  :P  and two I could be wrong but I think 550 cables are a bit shorter and hookup the same... but don't quote me on that.
