In between the continuing molding process, I also shaved unused brackets off the top tree and soda blasted it. Looks a lot cleaner in my opinion.

Phase one of the molding process is done. Z-Grip has been used as filler. Next up is Piranha Putty to smooth things further, but first here's a photo update:

Scored this finned breather cover off eBay! This guy is making a limited run of them, I guess. I don't know how many he's making, but they are on eBay right now. In my opinion, they are very high quality and worth the price if you want a finned cover.

Using the stock front end. I have a girder that I was considering, but I'm gonna save that for another project.

Just got done with the first coat of primer now!

Next time remind me to wear my respirator

Two cans of spray paint for one coat of primer. I'm gonna need a lot more primer, paint, and clear-coat than I thought.

Frames eat paint, yo. First of all they're round, so there's always another angle, and second they're all narrow, so you overspray like crazy.

Done sanding the first coat of primer. Have I mentioned how sick I am of sanding?

Should be one more coat of primer this weekend and then on to paint.
