Ok, the bike is back together. I have to finish bleeding the brakes, but other than that, it is mechanically done.

I still have to get new tires, which will go on another set of Comstars that I have polished up. I also have my drilled rotors mounted on them.

The exhaust has some minor dents that I am going to try and pull out and then it will get sent out for powder-coating.

Eventually stainless steel braided brake lines will replace the stock ones. A lot of the bolts on the bike will be also replaced with Allen-head bolts to make it look a little cleaner.

Open pipes. I can't really do anything about the color of the air filter... and it doesn't bother me anyways.

I'll try and get video for the sound! I know I SHOULD wear a helmet. I am one of those who wears a helmet for 10 miles or more. I know accidents happen wherever, but I accept that risk...

Ok, a question for those of you following this build:

I am thinking of going to +4 over forks. Right now they are standard length. I am scraping my exhaust A LOT on curves and I think lengthening the forks will help a bit, plus I think it will give the bike a bit more of a longer look.

What are your thoughts?

Like it as is,but can see why you want to go up. Brake hoses may still work going up four.Changes your turning radius.Maybe block the frame and slide the forks down,so you can see how you like it.

I looked back at the pics, the exhaust is very low, are you sure this is the exhaust you want?

This is just a cruise around town bike, but longer forks would increase the trail making turning more difficult but increasing straight-line stability.

This exhaust actually has the best clearance out of any I have tried on this bike. Short of custom pipes that don't drop down, I'm not gonna get much better with the pipes. Even the side-winder exhausts are lower than these.

Every line aft of the steering head is so long, I think that longer forks would balance the look of the bike.

Good observation. Going to drop these forks 4" in the trees to see how it looks before I commit, but I'm thinking this will probably be the course.

What i think gives these type of bikes a well balanced look is to have the bottom frame rail as close to parallel to the ground as possible, having the front end to high unbalances the bikes IMO...
