paradiddle1, thanks for the kind words! The next project on the horizon for me is an Amen-frame chopper. They are one of the sleekest looking frames in my opinion.

BTW, I'm assuming you are a drummer based on your username; me too.

Yes I am a drummer. I used a a license plate that said RLRR. I was looking at the 18" rear wheel and then looked on ebay for 16" comstars like ff off gold wings etc. I wanted a little fatness in the back.

It seemed to be a problem with the way I had my breathers set up. I tied all the plumbing together and the crankcase was trying to vent out the valve cover and not letting the oil drain. I installed three separate breathers for the valve cover, crankcase, and oil tank and that appears to have helped the problem.

Oh yea that would do it. FYI the cam cover breathes to open air, the back of the crankcase should go to the bottom of the oil tank and the top of the oil tank vents to open air. This is for a stock configuration though. I know you have a custom oil tank.

A super-clean ATP Turbo Kit popped up on eBay last night and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I pulled the trigger and clicked the Buy-It-Now button.

I debated for a second whether to put it on this bike or my next chopper project, but decided the triple-disc brakes on this bike would be better suited for added horsepower than the mini-drum/drum setup I plan for on the next bike.

So once the riding season comes to a close, the conversion will begin. Having F2 pistons, I know my compression is probably higher than I want for a turbo setup, so I might spring for an 836 kit and keep the F head to lower compression. I'll be picking the brains of the speed junkies in the hi-performance area of the forum before diving too deep.
