A super-clean ATP Turbo Kit popped up on eBay last night and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I pulled the trigger and clicked the Buy-It-Now button.
I debated for a second whether to put it on this bike or my next chopper project, but decided the triple-disc brakes on this bike would be better suited for added horsepower than the mini-drum/drum setup I plan for on the next bike.
So once the riding season comes to a close, the conversion will begin. Having F2 pistons, I know my compression is probably higher than I want for a turbo setup, so I might spring for an 836 kit and keep the F head to lower compression. I'll be picking the brains of the speed junkies in the hi-performance area of the forum before diving too deep.
