Where is my air screw? "photo included"
« on: April 30, 2010, 12:38:07 PM »
So if the one on the left is the plug screw, and the one on the right is the throttle stop screw, where is my air screw?
I'm running lean on 3 cyl and wanted to try and richen it up a bit before I tear into them.

On my K3 that screw on the right is the air screw.

The throttle stop screw is the large single screw in the top of the pix. Air screw is on the right above the "hole"

Clymer was probably showing you the early 750 carbs with individual throttle cables.
The right screw is the air screw or pilot screw.  Turning it inwards closes off air, making the mixture richer.

Except on cafe bikes...then you are doomed.
