Sold my last Moriwaki VTR Factory racer....
« on: April 29, 2010, 01:00:05 PM »
Although I get to look after it for three moths while the guy I sold it to pays in full, she's finally going. The bike I had my first 100mph race crash on, the only race bike I ever felt comfortable on, the bike I met my wife while racing, the bike that Midori Moriwaki, unmarried daughter of Pops Moriwaki sent me her photo to go with the bike....sold to make way for something as yet undecided.

Ahh heck - it's only machinery right - and it was bloomin' loud ;D

No I didn't HavocTurbo - the problem with these things is that they cost a small fortune to build but no-one really understands what goes into them so they don't command high resale values. Considering the bike cost £42,000 to build (not by me thankfully!) I did OK in getting 10% of the build price...

Hey Mike - have you seen Midori Moriwaki? There is a reason she has a permanent chaparone lady with her and it's not just because she manages the Moriwaki firm and is worth a tidy sum....she's gorgeous too!

I know. My good friend has met her as his wife is Japanese and they visit the homeland at least twice a year. I've seen personal pics of her....not bad at all. ;) BTW.....bike looks great BUT I expected nothing less from you. ;)

Ha ha! Thanks Mike, appreciate it. Selling this allows me to get on with my RC162 replica, got the motor in partial strip now to see if there are any horrors in there and then we'll see if we can't get a 20,000 rpm screaming four in the end! ;-)
