unfortunately i then listened and watched it  :P  i cant carry a tune in a bucket, my playing sounds great but my voice sounds like maybe a camel being tortured  :D  any of you vocalists out there have any suggestions on how to work at improving my "voice" ?

sounds stupid... but use a piano and a cheap tuner.

Then work your way up to listening to the actual song performed while singing...

Then play and sing at the same time.

Works great for most of my students.

Then work your way up to listening to the actual song performed while singing...

Then play and sing at the same time.

Works great for most of my students.


sounds like a plan! we have a piano, just need to get the thing tuned.

if my voice would stay in one octave it would be easy. see, i never really tried singing like this until a year or so ago and i guess 40 years old is a bit late to try to start singing

hey my dad has played piano for years,hes into old jazz,were from london originaly and he has been on bbc radio a bit,he was in the orchestra backing shirley bassy in adelaide,i never picked up instruments but tools,i could sing and hold a tune as a kid,now im down to a half octave range!i think it comes with age bucky."dont you know its magic"by john farnham goes over 4 octaves,hed never sing it now!i never could.

ROFL that would be a plus if you had a tuned piano.... no worries though, I use a keyboard but my actual piano is out of tune as well.  :D

i'll get it done for the wifes b-day  i;ve gotten enough parts sold this week to pay some bills and do that. not knowing anything i figured it would be like tuning an 88 string guitar. i have a digital tuner right? i opened the top up and thought "damn was i ever wrong"  :P

i erased it off of the SD card, then put the card onto a magnet from an 18" woofer, then i burned it  :D

new one later today when i pick up the jackson reverse dinky i was promised for rebuilding and "bench" synching 6 stromberg 97's
