Is this tool box for a CB500?

 I just picked up this tool box and it was listed as coming from/fitting a 1971 CB500. The only way I can see that it mounts would put it under the carbs somewhat. The opening would be on the left side. Is that correct?
 I was told it mounted under the battery tray and over the engine.

The CB500 had a plastic tool tray over the battery. That tool box is from one of the twins, probably CB450 or 350.

I think they made a 500 twin too.  Maybe it's from that.  Does look just like the box on my 175 twin though...

 I don't have the engine in the frame right now (maybe tomorrow...), but I wonder if it will work on a 500/4 with the carb rack and all?

I'm pretty sure it's from a CB/CL350. Looks just like the one mounted under the battery on my CL.

It's from a CB450... '72-'74 style.
