K8 895 overbore?

one has been listed locally for several months.  off and on with no takers.
i know absolutely nothing about these type of performance mods, and how it affects the life of the engine.
10k total mi on the engine, 3k on the overbore says the owner.
missing the airbox(not setup for pods) points ignition system, and the list of standard things a bike that hasnt been ridden or maintained for some time needs.
it runs.  saw the vid.

i'm looking for advice on this bikes overbore, and how it effects longevity, and what should i inspect for to look for abuse or poor workmanship?
what else should i be asking the owner?
