The guy that started this thread has a total of 6 posts.
There are now 5 pages in this thread.
Most of the posts in this thread are negative, slandering, mean and just down right ignorant.
Most of the people who posted negative input,(not all, but most), have very high post counts.
If you don't like what you see, fine say so once and move on.
A bunch of you guys (you know who you are), are immature pricks and your only ability is to make a bad situation worse.
Anyway, you can go ahead and slam me here or shot me a PM and harass me, some pussy has already done that.
You know who you are.

Hmmnn Anthropology analyst, perhaps?
Or are you just saying that come the spring too many of us have too much time on their hands??

the comment where I said I was going to 'punch Ryan6838 in the face for doling out hugs' disappeared.
I wonder if he knew I was kidding?   :-\

OP
any progress, cleanup, plans, ideas?
maybe a new thread in other bikes with a title that says something like , "Project Wenig Schusseln Biene"
everything I say is pure speculation and

I knew you were kidding. I was trying to lighten the mood. I'm newer here and don't understand why some people need to be so aggressive. Were a community that loves old hondas. different shapes and forms but were all here for the same reason. Why cant people be nice? If you don't like something or someone you don't have to be mean. Was anyone thought the saying if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all? The people that have been here along time want respect and say we need to earn there's but they're not all leading by example. If you don't give respect you cant get it. Ive tried to be nice with everything i say and im not calling individuals out. Just my thoughts. Can we please be more supportive and nice to one another?  ;D Another round of hugs lol

You know why people are so aggressive? Because this forum is saturated with macho chest-thumping.

"My old-ass honda goes faster than yours."
"My old-ass honda has more hand-made parts than yours."
"I have a K0/sandcast/whatever."
"I have a Rickman (whatever)."
"I have a Tracy (whatever)."
"Mine are plain-jane, but I have a ton of them."
"I can do it all myself."
"I can pay someone else to do it all in my sleep."
"My chopper leans out further than yours."
"My cafe bump seat looks better than yours."
"My triangle is cleaner than yours."
"Pods suck"
"Do not."
"Do so."
"Synthetic oil will blow up your engine."
"Will not."
"Will so."
"My politics are superior to yours."
"My morals are superior to yours."
"If you don't follow the book verbatim, you're wrong."
"If you follow the book verbatim, you're unimaginative."

And so it goes, on and on and on and on.  Everywhere you look on this forum, beyond the first few pages of usefulness, you will see some form of the above. It just keeps going forever.  Once you know and understand this about the forum, it gets easier to recognize and ignore (or poke fun at) but until then, yeah, it's extremely agitating.

Take it for granted, though, that there are little niches here and there where people eventually fit in and find their place.  The cb650 niche is small enough that I think we all generally know each other and help each other out.  I'm pretty sure that happens with other groups, too... It's when you get really wide-spread, nonspecific group attention that the feces will hit the fan.

Note: Within this post, you will find a subtle, underlying theme of  "My morals are better than yours" with an aside that "My spelling and grammar are both better than yours."

I'm trying to make it to enthusiast by using this thread to make random statements about stuff.  I saw a bird outside.  I saw a cat outside.  have you heard Arlo Guthrie's Motorcycle song?  I like grilled cheese.

you're an amateur.  If you really wanted to be an enthusiast, you'd make each of those posts its own sentence.  Find the south side dive bar. It used to be the "shameless post boost thread"
