So my partner "Jaffa" and I rode to one of the big hardware stores today to check out some garden stuff, while there we took lunch in the store's cafe.
A big fully tattoed guy rocks up and with a grin from ear to ear says "Hi I'm John, I just had to come and meet the two riders of those lovely old bikes parked out there".

John works at the store, probably gets minimum wage and works his arse off.
Nice guy and he's been riding for 40 odd years himself, rides a purple Harley which looks like it was hand painted with a brush even though it's a fairly late model machine.
I actually remember seeing John on a protest ride at the beginning of the year, he stuck out for his gaudily painted HD and the fact he rides in shorts!

But what a nice guy, readily admits to waving to scooter riders and laughs at the HD riders who think he should put himself above all other bike riders.
I'll look out for John when ever we shop there in the future (Jaffa's favourite shop, she spent $400 there today alone) and out on the highway.....he'll be the HD rider cheerily waving to all other riders, John you restored my faith in humanity today mate.
