Topic: Leaking crank seal?

I am trying to help a friend with his 78 750 which has an oil leak.  The leak looks like it is coming from the crank seal (points side).

Is there a way to replace this seal with out splitting the case?  If I can get the old seal out it looks like I may be able to use a bushing driver to instal a new seal?

I found the answer via search.  Not what I was hoping for but since the engine is already out of the frame it will not be too bad.
