thicker head and base gaskets?
« on: May 04, 2010, 09:05:45 AM »
i know there is such an animal as thinner base and head gaskets for my 750 but how about thicker ones for say, someone wanting to drop compression. i got offered a killer deal on some brand new 836 pistons but they're 12.5:1 compression. the chambers will have been worked, un-shrouding the valves so that will drop it a bit as well. i can get these pistons for 100 dollars. he asked that i dont buy them just to sell them, said if i did he might as well do the same and sell them for full price so i have got to respect his wishes.

Of all God's creatures there is only one that cannot be made the slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.
