Help with CB750 Part colours
« on: May 04, 2010, 08:08:25 AM »
I have a 1974 CB750K4 which I'm in the process of restoring.  I'm almost ready to send the parts out for paint/chrome.

What I need to know is the Rear Swing Arm Rear Right Brace is it painted black?  or is it Chromed?  If it's painted the paint on mine is long but gone and it's to the bare metal.  This is why I'm asking.

Thanks,

-r

Not sure what you mean by 'brace'.................If its the brake-stay it should be platted with zink. If you mean the mounting lug for the swingarm on the frame, it is black.

Pictures are a sure thing.........or a photo-copy of the parts-book or shop manual.
