729$, or at least that was the price some months ago when i got a set for a friend in italy

regardless, would never fit CR29's on a stock or ligthly tuned 500/550, way too large.

Guys,
If I may make a suggestion:
There are many ways to set up carbs, some easy, and some not so easy. I have tried just about every method over the last 30 years from $50,000 dyno's to seat of the pants. If you do not have access to a good dyno in your area, there are two way that work, one very cheap, and one less cheap.
1,The cheap way is to mark off your throttle at 1/4 - 1/3 - 1/2, and so on. This represents the different jetting circuits in the carbs, ie, idle, slide cut-away, needle jet, etc.
2, Find a nice long road that the cops don't patrol.
3, Put a spark plug wrench in your back pack, along with a good flash light.
3, Drive down the road at the first mark for at least a mile.
4, Kill the ignition, and pull in the clutch at the same time, coasting to a stop.
5, Remove the outside plugs, 1 & 4, and read the color, light tan/gray is fine, you only need color at the very base of the plug insulator. That's why you need the plug light.
6, Repeat for each jet circuit.
Many a SuperBike team in the 70's & 80's used this system. Or just buy a WIDE BAND O2 Sensor, 12.8 to 13.4 to 1 for gasoline, and repeat the same test.

Well I guess that helps me make my decision.  I've kinda had my doubts about it after reading some of the stuff on here.
Now I've just got to find a stock carb rack.
Thanks!
