CB's in the movies
« on: May 04, 2010, 01:16:30 PM »
I was wondering about movies that had CB750's in it

or any CB for that matter

of course we all know and love:
Mad Max
Terminator

Also I wonder where these machines are today? I know the chopper with the sidecar is still around down in Australian car shows, what about the CB750 that did the circle burnout??. Where is the bike (or bikes) from Terminator

Here's a search thread. But you know it may not have a CB specific thread which is what you were looking for.

"Every Which Way But Loose".   Clint Eastwood as Philo Beddoe.  The leader of the Black Widows rides a CB750 chopper.

There was a show on NBC last year called Kings. The main character rode a CB in one or two episodes.

There is a chase scene in an old B movie called 'Thou Shalt Not Kill...Except' where Sam Raimi who playes the main crazy is driving what I think is a 350 through the woods and eventually gets impaled on the forks. Pretty cool flick if you like old cheesy suspense flicks.

Movie "Stone Killer" featured a brown colored 1971 CB750K1 with dual disk brakes. It also had a  1971 CB500K0 stunt bike with the gas tank repainted to look like the CB750 during chase scenes (CB500 is of course far easier to handle than the CB750, being nearly 80 lbs lighter). The CB750 used for the first Terminator movie was also a 1971 K1 model (you can tell by the tail section during crash scenes) with tank striping removed (probably painted over) and the aftermarket fairing added.

In the movie "DROP ZONE" Wesley Snipes is riding a mid 70's CB750 in one of the scenes. Can't find a picture.
