Wow, love it.

What show?  I wanna mark my calendar now.  :)

The more I look at it, the more I like it. :)

International Centre (Airport Road), April 9Th / 10Th.  Should be fun, mixed in with all the Vtwins. ;) :)  Need to find / make some stanchions.

April '87! :o :o :o :  Looks like you need a new sticker for your plate, before you head off to Mosport this summer. ;) ;)

(Brian, send me and Terry a PM regarding the plans for this summer's Mosport ride-in.  Are you still organizing?)

Somehow I missed the lettering on the top of the tank.  What does it mean?

"Silly Roundeye With Yellow Fever". ;)

Or "Speed Warrior", the bike's name.  Did you catch what the crests are?

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

Cool.  I'll come if I can, and try to coordinate a meetup if I do come.  I'm looking forward to seeing that bike in person, and shaking your hand.

Sounds like we should all plan a meet and get-to-know gathering.  I really would like to see Tintop's 550 too, as well as meet some of you guys.

I also had a bike displayed at the January show, but it was a bit smaller - 90% smaller in actual fact. :-[  But it beat yours out, Brian, as the plate it wore was from 1964... ;) ;)

Hey Tintop.

What LED flasher did you go with?

Thanks for the comp.  Not sure what make the flasher is, it came as part of the wiring kit.  It is an electronic one, so it is not sensitive to load, and doesn't cause problems with the LED rear, standard front.  I should be rubbing on it for the show in the next couple of days, and will get the brand.

Somehow I missed the lettering on the top of the tank.  What does it mean?
"Silly Roundeye With Yellow Fever". ;)  Close :D :D :D

I plan on being there Saturday until mid afternoon, and then Sunday afternoon.  What works for the rest of you?

Was checking out the move in times, and found this about 1/2 way down, just past Kemp's bikes. ;) :)

For those who are planning / thinking of coming Saturday.  I not sure where the bike will be, but given they have posted the picture it may get a 'feature' spot.  I'll be the guy wearing the straw fedora (its spring ;), and I hate base ball caps).  Also an NHRA Museum blk jacket.  There won't be 2 of us there. ;D ;D  Planning on being around from 10 to 2 on Saturday.  Sunday from about 2 to when ever I get loaded and out of there. ;)

Thanks, the funny things is it looks better now than in that picture.   Spent some more time rubbing the tank, and repolishing the tail after the pin stripping.  It also has a new fairing graphic.  Much more to my liking, and way better done.

Also met Chris of Yoshi pipe fame.  He has his Wes Cooley replica there.  Boy has it got some trick stuff in it.  He was very interested in my 4/4 Swarbricks, and SBK swingarm.  As an aside, Carpy's supercharged engine was built by Chris.  Forgot to ask if its a runner yet.
Was that WC replica bike ever given a proper writeup anywhere?  Now and then I look for good info about it and can't find anything outside this thread. I couldn't even find it listed on the GN website's 2011 awards page.

Nothing that I have ever found.  There was probably more info about the bike on his show card, than I have ever seen any where else.  Should have taken a photo of it. :(

Are you going to the bike show at the International Centre this weekend?

For those who have indicated they will be at the show Saturday, bike is in Building #6, about 1/2 way down 1st isle as you enter.  Which puts you 1/2 to the stage & food. ;) :)  See you there.

Well, that was pretty cool.  Had a chance to meet Tintop and enjoy a beer and a chat.   That bike is looking great with the new graphic, and it's appreciably better in person than in the photos.  I haven't seen (and didn't manage to take) one photo where the awesome swingarm isn't lost among the exhaust pipes.

It was great to meet up with Syscrush, and a couple of the other Ontaio SOHC'ers.  I was going to post a photo of the new fairing graphic, but the light is terrible and I couldn't get a good one.  I'll try again tomorrow.  Going to be tuff getting anything at this show as I'm lumped together with the choppers. ::)

Do have a nice location though, only 50 ft from the beer stand. ;D

Good meeting you at the show, Brian, and seeing your lovely bike in person.  Looking forward to seeing it on "the road" this summer.  But, with those wicked pipes, I don't think I'll want to follow too closely. ;D

Likewise on the meet & greet HondanutRider.

The show is finally over, but at least leaving the building was fun.  After I took down, and loaded the display, fired the bike and rode it out to the trailer.  Drowned out the 'busa drag bike ;D, and got a thumbs up from Kemp & the vintage guys.  Even made the HD guys take a look.  Nothing like 4 open megas in an enclosed space. 8) 8)

So how do it do?  I took 2nd place for my display (& $50 8)), even beat out the Best in Show winner, amazing.  Also got a Top 20 award.

Finally got an OK photo of the new fairing graphic, with the pin stripping that was added Thursday night.

Now its time to finish the jetting, and complete the process to get it on the road.  May look into doing the final jetting on a dyno after the WebCam is installed.

Brother Tintop the bike looks beautiful, congratulations on your awards!

thanks joeyputt, unfortunately for me the way the classes were setup, I ended up competing against all the full on radical customs.  Sounds like next year they are going to change the way the classes are divided.

+1 on the new graphic;  how was that applied?

The graphic was done by Amanda at Black Widow Airbrushing.  Took a lot of work for her to remove the old one, and than add the new.  The pin stripe was done by 'Mask' from Georgetown.
