Don't know how warm it has to be for good racing, but it's definitely sunny and dry most of the time, even throughout the Winter! The main drawback to racing in the Denver area is the altitude. The air's too thin!

First I'd make sure your oil wasn't mostly gas before I blamed the altitude.

Had to drop my idle jets to #35 and change to a UNI filter to get my bike to run well at this altitude, but I've taken it up to 9,000 feet so far, and it's done fine. A little harder to start up there, though.

I lived in the States for 6 months back in 82/83, didnt know where Colorado was, Just had a look...north of New Mexico yes ?
