i just got in trade, a jackson reverse performer and when i got it the strings were all sitting flat on the frets.ni big deal i thought, just adjust the string height  :D  it took me half a day to find out how to do so online and i have to wait a few days for the shims i ordered to get here. is this a situation that any of you have seen before? i've seen string heights get kind of low but never having owned a floyd rose tremolo guitar before i just dont know.  and could a more complicated system of intonation and string height adjustment be invented? good lord all my other guitars all it takes is a screwdriver or allen wrench to set both height and intonation  :o  anyways, if anyone has any advice or other stuff for me to look out for i'd appreaciate it. also, what in the hell model guitar DO i have? it's 24 fret and the body is the same length/width as my stratocaster is so i dont htink it's a dinky......serial# is #9614004  pics of the monstrosity to follow. my apologies if i've already asked this.
