Sad sign of the times when nearly anything can and is taken as a possible threat and can paralyze us. And yes, it is indeed better to be safe than sorry. Just ingrains the thought that the terrorists have already won.

          Yes, it IS a SAD situation that we are becoming paranoid. Remember when we would go "Overseas" to fight with the enemy? I Do remember it well AND I also remember all of the flack our government caught because we did just that. Some just couldn't see that you needed to take care of things BEFORE they came over here. Now, here we are!

         Yes, I do agree that there were SOME things that we should have stayed out of, but in either case,it's too late now! Remember the "Ryder Rental AND Oklahoma City?" Sure, it was U.S. citizens that did THAT one, I know. But, it has made us uneasy just the same. :-\

I was stuck in that traffic on the Triboro last night coming from Cirque Du Soleil after an INCREDIBLE date.  It was a lovely night, and WE DIDN'T MIND IT ONE BIT!

People were out of their cars, enjoying the beautiful night, chatting, laughing, having lots of fun!

Terrorism (or false alarms) can't stop New Yorkers even for one second!

The next to last time I used/dealt a UHaul the beast had massive compression problems and sucked oil going up hill like no tomorrow (and out the tail pipe in clouds of smoke); only it had 1/2 its dash lights functioning (the low end of the scale), plus it leaked in the "Mom's Attic" section of the truck.
So, maybe another fine example of UHaul maintenance struck again...
