Snake found living in roof of old Victorian

yeah that's right....the contractor found what looks to be some type of python living up in our roof, between the roofing layers...two and a half feet long.  Guess that's why there were never any mice in the attic....it seemed healthy, and happy.   took it home with him. sorry no pics.

What I wouldn't do for some rat and black snakes in my yard, eating up those damn chipmunks and rarebits and moles and squirrels...

Back some years ago, I found a snake in my building out back and my Wife wanted me to burn down the building as she claimed "They always run in pairs!" If WE found that there was a snake in our house (ANYWHERE), the same would apply (far as SHE was concerned) the house would BURN! :o

There is one spot my wife won't mow, weed wack or go near. where she chopped up a little snake last year. He was in pieces but there he was all over the yard. I saw one at the race track that looked like a tow strap dropped on the road, it was as big as my arm and so long when I drove up to it there was snake on both sides of my golf cart and he was in s shapes moving! There are no ground squirrels now though.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

I bought an old double decker bus about 12 years ago and when i went up tocheck out the top level there was a 9-10 foot carpet snake {python} sunning itself on the window ledge, i picked him up and put him in the long grass near the bus, in the mean time my mates wife had gone and gotten the camera nd she had a go at me for not letting her take a picture of it. I heard a noise and realized that the snake was coming back towards the bus so i told her to get ready, she laughed and said "sure". I was right and the snake was making a bee line straight for the stairs at the back of the bus so i slid my hands under it and we got some good pictures of it. I will see them in a few weeks and i will see if i can get a copy of the pictures for your viewing entertainment..... ;D

my wife says that about spiders how they always run in pairs. when we would have disagreements she would sleep on the couch so i would find a dead spider and put it near the couch so she could see it. and wa la she would get over her issue with me.and come back to bed.
