i hada fun filled day in the ER today

i've been down with the flu paste several days and finally at 6 this morning i ended up in the ER at palmetto richland hospital. i had to have iv fluids and oxygen, thought they were going to have to admit me at one point but im feeling a bit better now. if you get sick drink plenty of fluids! if you feel like you cant breathe when youre laying down theen you likely cant!  #$%*, the flu and it's 90 damned degrees out there, no humidity and all ican think about is getting outside to enjoy the low humidity since it'll be gone in another week or 2. ah well, the kitties all seem to know i need company and all 6 are with me either on the couch or in my recliner, and its funny as hell, theyre all as close to me as their status in the kitty heirarchy allows with Hamish being the one in my lap with callie the furthest from me. these little peckerheads are good for what ails me ya know?

well, i gained well over 100 pounds in the year after it happened and my health has gone totally to #$%* as well. i've been sick more times in the past 3 years that in the previous 20 before i got hurt. i cant help but think it has something to do with it.


#$%* i hate needles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 Take Care of yourself, I think You and virgina both need to just sit back and kick back and concentate on the both of you getting better, your are both in my prayers,please keep us posted. Yeah it sure is good to have the kittens by yourside. We had one that litterally took the ciggert outta James mouth when I was pregnate with son and tear it up and leave it at his feet. Cats are smarter then most people think. ;)

back at the er this afternoon with a temp of 103.7  it's flu they just dont know which one yet.

as badly as it tears my stomach up i have taken ibuprofen a couple of times to get the fever down. at around 100.5 right now, i'm sitting outside in my chaise lounge with my laptop..............well, in my lap. i had noidea i could get the flu so late in the year. it's worse getting it when it's in the 90's than during the winter i think

well, my dumb ass just fell down the back steps, very steep. i wanted a coke out of my shop fridge. wife got home to me holding an icepack to my knee. nothing broken but i'm still really unsteady on my feet. wife smacked the crap out of me, so did my step-daughter but now i'm getting waited in hand and foot  :D  gallon pitcher of unsweetened iced herbal tea both laptop batteires and 5 of my 6 kitties hanging out with me. i get after everyone else here about listening to what the doc tells em to do and i go ahead and try to walk down steep stairs into my cluttered shop to get a coke. i'll behave from now on, i promise. :P none of my narcotic pain killers for a few days, doc at the hospital told me (unofficially of course) if i had pain i could have a little herbal pain med if i didnt try stairs.
