CB 750 F Diffences in the engine over the years
« on: May 06, 2010, 05:18:26 PM »
So I have a 75 that I pulled apart to rebuild only my replacement top end was either a 77or 78 because it was black. I noticed that the valves are a little bigger in the new one compared to the original 75 model. Does anyone know if there is any reason that my pistons from my 75 would not work in this new top end?

Look on the top head fin rear next to #3 intake and tell me what numbers/letters you see?? Just because it's black and the valves SEEM larger don't count yer chickens yet. Let's go from there.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
