So after months of applying for jobs, only to not have a single interview, I have resorted to making my income by doing product research.

On Tuesday I have an interview with a place that is going to pay me 800 bucks to particpate in a sleep study. The study is 15 days and  10 of the nights i get to sleep at home. Not a bad deal if i say so myself.

But  still need some luck if I am going to pass the next part, so wish me luck, because if i get this "job" that means I get a new front tire and a cab sync! Or i save that money and plan a trip to england, god do I want to go there.

Sorry to ramble just had to share my excitement.


PS. Almost forgot I am applying for a beer drinking study that can make me 400 bucks!

Good luck,  I work full time at an Ace Hardware taking a big pay cut from the glamorous world of Bar Management (got tired of bouncing drunks, getting bottles thrown at me nightly, getting home at 4:30 am, etc) Research studies can be a good way to make a little extra money, I signed up with a company called Gilmore Research, they have branches all over the country.  There are a lot of scams out there, so it is the only company I trust with my info & get called every couple of months for focus groups, mock trials,etc. usually $75-$200 depending on the length.

I hope it works out as well, I have been to Europe many times, my dad was born in Italy, still go back to see my aunt and all my cousins. I also have citizenship to Italy, but England is the only place I have always wanted to go, but have never went.


My plan is London for a week, then off to Kent I have a friend that goes to school there and is offering me free housing, then up to Blackpool and Manchester for 1 week, then maybe back to London, I dont know I just know I want to go.
