Norwegian cafe.. Oil tank in the swingarm....
« on: May 08, 2010, 03:34:15 am »
Hi :)
Been lurking around this forum for quite some time and found great inspiration here:) I am not new to building bikes or cars but this is my first Honda build. It started out as a 1977 F1 supersport. :)
The plan is:
Fuel injection (this is the tread that started it out http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=30624.0 Great tread:):)
Hondaman ignition
Cbr 1000 brakes and footrests.
Modified cb 500 gas tank. (stretched with knee indents)
seat, clip on and and so on:)
DDM HID light.
Gsxr 750 swingarm.
Oil tank in the swingarm.
The Gordon frame kit.
Frankenstuff`s clear points cover.

As you understand from the "tread name" my native language is not English, so if my writing " sucks":) That's why:) But will post pictures. As I know we all love that:) :)

Ok...:) where to start? Yes... Got tiered of M....ing around with the carbs, did not get them sorted out:(
So 750essess tread got me going.. Did go for the gsxr 600 throttle bodies 01-03, as they needed no modifications to them. It was just  a matter of fabricating spacers to make them fit the Honda intace boots:) And move the throttlewire to the center of the bodies:)

Thank you:) will try to upgrade the bike with some modern parts, but apart from brakes and the EFI. Just the basics. No signal light or unnecessary weiring :) Less is more :)

A beer to anyone who guess what will be modified to become velocity stacks :) :D ;D

i dig this build!!  nicely done upgrades on the "cheap"!  what are your machining capabilities?  also, what are you running for the EFI software?
